BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING MINUTES

JULY 25, 2005

The regular meeting of the New Franklin Board of Aldermen was called to order by Mayor Jerry B Thornton Monday, July 25, 2005 at 7:00 PM at 132 East Broadway, New Franklin, Missouri.  Present were as follows:

1. Alderman Banks moved to approve the Minutes of July 11, 2005.  Alderwoman Megas seconded the motion.  Six aye votes.  No nay votes.  Motion carried.

2. Alderman Banks moved to approve the Bills of July 25, 2005.  Alderwoman Megas seconded the motion.  Six aye votes.  No nay votes.  Motion carried.

3. The New Franklin Swim Club provided none of the information requested at the last regular meeting, so there was nothing for the Board to consider.

4. Board members discussed derelict vehicles, weeds, trash, and burned out mobile homes at Trails West Trailer Park owned by E-Z Land, Inc.  The matter will be discussed again at the next regular meeting.

5. City Services Director Harvey reported that the sludge removal at the water plant sludge pond was nearly completed; the berms at the lagoon will be addressed next week as part of annual maintenance and the renovation of the records storage area will begin in October.

6. Police Department had nothing to report.

7. Alderwoman Heilman moved to adjourn.  Alderman Frevert seconded the motion.  Six aye votes.  No nay votes.  Meeting adjourned.
