The regular meeting of the New Franklin Board of Aldermen was called to order by Mayor C Frank Frevert Monday October 22, 2007 at 7:00 pm at 132 E Broadway, New Franklin, MO 65274. Present were as follows:

Absent: Alderman Ward III Walter Banks

1. Alderman Nowlin moved to approve the Minutes of October 9, 2007. Alderman McGee seconded the motion. Five aye votes. No nay votes. Motion carried.

2. Alderman Nowlin moved to approve the bills of October 22, 2007. Alderman Thompson seconded the motion. Five aye votes. No nay votes. Motion carried.

3. The next comprehensive planning meeting was set for November 15, 2007 at 6:00 pm.

4. A work session was scheduled for November 12, 2007 at 6:00 pm, preceding the regular meeting of the Board.

5. Official notification from National Park Service was received, awarding the grant for the city assumption and rehabilitation of the swimming pool.

6. As a result of an inspection of the City Park by DNR, the yard waste collection site must be closed. Other options for collection and disposal were discussed but no decision made.

7. Chief Wells reported the grant application for in-car videos has been submitted.

8. Alderman McGee moved to adjourn to closed session Pursuant to Chapter 610.021 of the Revised Statutes of The State of Missouri - Personnel. Alderman Nowlin seconded the motion.
