BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 08, 2010
The regular meeting of the New Franklin Board of Aldermen was called to order November 8, 2010 by Mayor C Frank Frevert at 7:02 pm at 132 East Broadway, New Franklin, Missouri. Present were as follows:

Absent: Alderman Ward III Michael McGee
1. Reading of Bill NO. 11.08.10 was removed from the agenda because the Public
Hearing could not be held. The Public Notice did not run in a local newspaper
the required 15 days prior to the Public Hearing. Alderwoman Heilman moved to
approve the amended agenda. Alderman Thornton seconded the motion. Five voting
aye. No nay votes. Motion carried.
2. Alderman Banks moved to approve the Minutes of October 12, 2010. Alderman
Thornton seconded the motion. Five voting aye. No nay votes. Motion carried.
3. Alderman Thornton moved to approve the Bills for October 12, 2010. Alderwoman
Heilman seconded the motion. Five voting aye. No nay votes. Motion carried.
4. Alderman Banks moved to authorize the transfer of funds from NF Police Savings
Account to General Operating account in the amount of $2906.99. Five voting
aye. No nay votes. Motion carried.
7. January 1, 2011 Mason Gebhardt, newly elected Howard County Associate Circuit
Court Judge, will assume the duties of the city's Municipal Court Judge, continuing
the practice of holding Municipal Court the 4th Thursday of each month in New
Franklin at 9:00 am.
8. Mr. Kevin Redden has not paid the invoice for city's assistance in solving
the storm drainage problem on S Union Street as a result of his excavation on
his property and the flood buyout lots he leases from the city. The City Administrator
was instructed to send a "second notice" of the invoice.
9. Alderman Thompson moved to install a tin roof on the water plant. Alderman
Thornton seconded the motion. Five voting aye. No nay votes. Motion carried.
10. Landowners in the immediate vicinity of the city's lagoon will be invited
to a meeting November 22nd at 6:00 pm to meet with the Board and the Sewer Improvement
Project engineer to discuss land application.
11. City Attorney Robinson will draft a police department policy "Forwarding
of Arrest Information to the Central Repository."
12. Alderman Thompson moved to adjourn to a closed session, pursuant to Chapter
610.021 (3) Personnel. Alderman James seconded the motion.
